GENERAL INFORMATION

For matters relating to the editorial content of either the IASNA web site or the Art & The Nude™ journal, the publisher / editor can be reached by e-mail at editor@iasna.com. Artists interested in submitting work please see the submission guidelines. For advertisement in the IASNA web site, please see the advertising guidelines. Currently, no advertising space is available for the Art & The Nude™ journal.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

One or two year membership terms will be made available with the release of the first issue of Art & The Nude™. Members will receive a subscription to Art & The Nude™ equal to the term of their membership. When available, back issues will be available to members at a discounted rate. In addition, members who wish to advertise with us will enjoy discounted advertising rates. We will post an update in our News & Highlights section when memberships are made available.

ARTIST SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Artists or photographers who are looking for an opportunity to expose their work to collectors, curators and galleries are encouraged to submit their work for consideration. There are no requirements except for those outlined below in the Submission Guidelines.

We will select between five and six portfolios per issue of the Art & The Nude™ journal from the pool of submissions. Portfolios not selected for the upcoming issue of the journal will be retained for consideration in following issue. We will notify you by e-mail or by phone if your work has been selected. Please allow between 4 and 6 weeks for review or your submission.

Please note that submission for consideration does not guarantee that your work will be published.

Publishing Release Form

In order for us to publish your work, we require that all artists sign the IASNA Publishing Release Form. The copyright permission you grant us is a one time publishing right for use on the IASNA website to promote your work and our publication and use in the Art & The Nude™ journal. We cannot accept your submission without a signed publishing release form. The IASNA Publishing Release Forms are located at the end of this document.

Please note that the artist retains copyright ownership of their work.

Submission Guidelines: WEB SITE
These guidelines apply for art work submitted for concideration as a Featured Artwork or inclusion to the Gallery only. For consideration for the Art & The Nude™ journal, see below.

• Digital file submissions may be via email at artsubmissions@iasna.com or on PC-readable CDs mailed to the address on the submission application form at the end of this document. We are a PC based publisher.
• If your work is submitted via email and your work is selected, you will be asked to complete a submission application form and sign a release allowing us to publish your work on this site.
• All images should be between 400 and 600 pixels in the longest dimension.
• We accept Photoshop PSD files, JPEG or TIF formats. Other formats will not be accepted.
• Image must not contain a copyright notice or other watermarks within the image.

Submission Guidelines: Art & The Nude™
Digital file submissions must mailed to our submissions address on PC-readable CDs or e-mailed to artsubmissions@iasna.com. E-mail submissions must include the List of Submitted Artwork form filled, signed, and dated included with your submission. This form is available at the end of the Submission Guidlines.

• 5 – 12 pieces for art work
• 8 - 12 pieces for photography
• All images should be between 2,000 and 3,000 pixels in the longest dimension.
• We accept Photoshop PSD files, JPEG or TIF formats. Other formats will not be accepted.
• Image must not contain a copyright notice or any other watermark within the image.
• We do not review websites as submissions.

Submission Checklist

• A brief bio.
• A brief description introducing your work including date of creation, media used, and dimensions.
• Original work, high quality reproduction of original work, traditional or digital prints up to 8x10 inches, or digital images of work on a PC-readable CD (5 – 12 for art work, 8 -12 for photography).
• A signed and dated IASNA Publishing Release Form.

Returns

If you would like your submissions returned include a SASE or other form of return postage. We recommend that you use packing materials that can be reused when making your submission. Submissions will not be returned unless proper postage is supplied.

Please note that submission for consideration does not guarantee that your work will be published.

IASNA or Art & The Nude™ will not accept responsibility for damage incurred during shipping to or from our offices. If you fail to include return postage, your submissions will be held for 30 days before being discarded. We highly encourage you to include return postage so that we will not have to throw away your work.

Please Do Not:
Call or email us to see if we have received your work. You can include a delivery confirmation notice through your delivery service provider. We will make every effort to return your images in a timely manner if you have provided the requested return postage. Due to the huge volume of submissions we receive, we request your patience and understanding in this matter.

IASNA assumes no responsibility for solicited or unsolicited contribution materials unless otherwise agreed to in writing. We do not automatically accept or agree to the conditions and stipulations printed on delivery memos, packing slips and related correspondence as they are presented without prior notice when accompanied by submission materials.

Any original material sent to us is at the artist's risk. Exceptions to this disclaimer of liability on the part of IASNA must be prearranged, executed in writing and signed by both parties prior to the shipment of materials in question.

ADVERTISE

Advertising space in Art & The Nude™ is currently not available. Advertising on the IASNA web site is available on a limited basis. If you are interested in advertising on the IASNA web site, please email us at sales@iasna.com for more information. IASNA reserves the right to refuse advertising it deems non-conforming to its editorial code of content.

No agency discount is given.

Free Listings for Call For Entries and Calendar Entries

Call for Entries will be listed as early as possible. Include only juried events open to residents of more than one state/province.

Calendar events will be listed the month prior to the event and the month during which the event occurs, except for conferences and workshops, which will be listed as early as possible upon receipt.
